Andreas Aepli has been the Chief Financial Officer of Climeworks since early 2021 and has helped to raise over USD 650m in equity and USD 600m in grant financing. He leads fundraising, FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, IT and holds an MBA from INSEAD as well as a BA in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen. Prior to Climeworks, Andreas worked for 13 years for Swiss Engineering Group Bühler in General Management & Finance roles across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, most recently helping to build the world’s first industrial plant for making sustainable proteins from insects.
